Career Biography
Trish is a Senior Associate and Social Ecologist with James Kent Associates
and a trainer with The Center for Social Ecology and Public Policy. She
is currently the project coordinator for JKA projects in Hawaii that are
successfully fostering citizen empowerment to create sustainable and livable
communities. Trish has been involved in a number of applied social change
projects over the last several years, having worked on a project in West
Medford, Oregon, Comprehensive Plan for Sierra County, New Mexico, and
numerous projects in Hawaii.
Previous to her focus on Cultural Anthropology and the cultural aspects
of change, Ms. Malone spent over 20 years as a Transformational Counselor,
Trainer, and Facilitator. She is a Certified NLP Master Trainer as well
as a Certified Hypnotherapist and has taught a variety of courses privately
and in the community college setting. Trish is known for her effective
communication skills, and as a facilitator of change with both individuals
and groups.
Trish is the first student in the country to receive a Master’s
Degree in Social Ecology as taught by James A. Kent and the Center for
Social Ecology and Public Policy. She received her Master’s degree
from Vermont College, and holds a B.S. degree in Anthropology from Southern
Oregon University.
